Qualifications

• 2–4 years of sales experience in gym, fitness, wellness or target-based sales.
• Experience handling and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Generate and convert membership leads from walk-ins, calls, WhatsApp, referrals and digital campaigns.
• Own and achieve monthly membership and PT sales targets.
• Manage, guide and motivate the sales team to hit targets.
• Conduct gym tours and membership consultations for prospects.
• Understand customer fitness goals and recommend membership/PT packages.
• Follow up with enquiries and convert trials into paid memberships.

About The Role

Ignite Fitness is looking for a confident, energetic and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive membership and personal training revenue at our fitness centre in Vanasthalipuram, Hyderabad.

You will be responsible for managing the complete sales journey — from handling new enquiries and conducting gym tours to following up with prospects, closing memberships, driving personal training sales, managing renewals and achieving monthly revenue targets — while guiding and motivating the sales team to do the same.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a target-driven environment, have strong communication and negotiation skills, and be able to build long-term relationships with prospective and existing members.

What you'll do

• Generate and convert membership leads from walk-ins, calls, WhatsApp, referrals and digital campaigns
• Own and achieve monthly membership and personal training (PT) sales targets
• Manage, guide and motivate the sales team to hit individual and team targets
• Conduct professional gym tours and membership consultations for prospective members
• Understand customer fitness goals and recommend suitable membership and personal training packages
• Follow up consistently with enquiries and convert trials into paid memberships
• Drive personal training, upgrades, renewals, referrals and additional revenue opportunities
• Handle sales negotiations and close memberships while maintaining healthy margins
• Improve membership conversions by identifying gaps in the sales process
• Maintain accurate lead, prospect, follow-up and conversion records in the CRM
• Track daily sales activity, conversion rates, pipeline and revenue performance
• Maintain daily sales reports and prepare monthly reports for management
• Work closely with trainers, front desk and marketing teams to improve lead conversion
• Develop local lead-generation opportunities through corporate tie-ups, residential communities and local partnerships
• Build strong relationships with members to encourage renewals, upgrades and referrals
• Ensure a professional and positive experience for every prospective and existing member

What we're looking for

• 2-4 years of sales experience, ideally in gym, fitness, wellness, hospitality, real estate or other target-based sales
• Experience handling and achieving sales targets
• Membership sales experience preferred
• Team handling and leadership skills
• Strong communication, convincing and closing skills
• Strong lead follow-up and conversion skills
• Good customer relationship skills
• Confident, energetic and professional personality
• Ability to manage multiple leads simultaneously
• Ability to understand customer needs and recommend suitable products or services
• Basic knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets and CRM systems
• Fluent in Telugu, Hindi and English
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required
• Passion or interest in fitness and wellness is an advantage
• Sales, CRM or fitness-related certifications are an added advantage but not mandatory
