Job summary

MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions, part of Element Solutions Inc., seeks a Sales Manager to lead the sales team, drive revenue growth, and expand the company’s customer base in Bengaluru. The role involves managing day-to-day sales operations, building strong client relationships, and achieving targets.

You will oversee new business development, strategic account management, and technical/ commercial selling, while building a healthy pipeline and representing the company to senior customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
• 5+ years of sales experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Experience with CRM platforms and sales reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• New Business Development: identify, qualify, and win new customers with a hunting mindset.
• Strategic Account Management: engage with OEMs, Tier-1s, EMS providers, and semiconductor customers.
• Technical & Commercial Selling: discuss material technologies and translate challenges into opportunities.
• Pipeline Building & Opportunity Management: maintain a healthy sales pipeline and manage projects from sample to production.
• Customer-Facing Presence: conduct visits, product demonstrations, and business reviews with senior stakeholders.

Who are we looking for?

The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales team, driving revenue growth, and developing strategies to expand the company’s customer base. This role oversees day‑to‑day sales operations, builds strong client relationships, and ensures that sales targets are consistently achieved. The Sales Manager plays a key role in shaping the commercial strategy and supporting long‑term business success.

candidates with approximately 5-10 years of experience in the field of electronic materials, specialty chemicals, adhesives, thermal management materials, conformal coatings, encapsulation, silicones, EMI shielding materials, or related industrial materials.

What will you be doing?

1. New Business Development

• Proven ability to identify, qualify, and win new customers.
• Strong hunting mindset with demonstrated success in generating opportunities independently.
• Experience opening new accounts rather than managing only existing customers.

2. Strategic Account Management

• Ability to engage with OEMs, Tier-1 manufacturers, EMS providers, semiconductor companies, and industrial electronics customers.
• Experience managing complex sales cycles involving Engineering, R&D, Quality, Procurement, and Manufacturing teams.

3. Technical & Commercial Selling

• Comfortable discussing material technologies and application requirements with customer technical teams.
• Ability to translate customer challenges into commercial opportunities.
• Experience handling value-based selling rather than purely price-driven transactions.

4. Pipeline Building & Opportunity Management

• Strong discipline in opportunity qualification.
• Ability to build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
• Experience managing projects from sample stage through qualification, approval, and commercial production.

5. Customer-Facing Presence

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Comfortable conducting customer visits, technical discussions, product demonstrations, and business reviews.
• Ability to represent the company professionally with senior customer stakeholders.

Who are You?
