Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy in Baroda is seeking a seasoned Sales Head to lead revenue growth in large size industrial bearings, slewing rings, and related components. You will own end-to-end business development, pricing, and customer engagement with OEM and global accounts.

Ideal candidates bring deep sales leadership in bearing industries, experience with large diameter bearings, and a track record of expanding markets across OEM, EPC, and export channels.

Qualifications

• Gained experience in bearing or industrial markets is preferred.
• Strong ability to build OEM and aftermarket partnerships.
• Familiarity with large diameter bearings, slewing rings, gear rims is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth and market expansion for large size bearings and related products.
• Define and execute sales strategy for OEM, EPC, and global customers; grow export and aftermarket.
• Expand presence in wind energy, cranes, mining, marine, and heavy OEM sectors.
• Manage marquee OEM and global accounts; negotiate LTAs and framework agreements.
• Lead application-based selling; support bearing selection, design interfaces, life calculations, and customization.
• Define pricing strategy to protect margins; ensure disciplined quotations and contract risk management.
• Own forecasting and pipeline; coordinate with PPC, SCM, Manufacturing, and Quality for OTIF delivery.
• Build and lead OEM, aftermarket, and export sales teams; manage dealers and regional partners.
• Track competition and market trends; provide inputs on capex and product roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

• Purpose: Drive revenue growth, market expansion, and strategic OEM & aftermarket relationships for large size industrial bearings, slewing rings, and gear rims. Own end?to?end business development, pricing, and customer engagement while positioning the company as a preferred technical?commercial partner.
• Business Development: Define and execute sales strategy for large diameter and special application bearings; develop OEM, EPC, and global customers; grow export and aftermarket business.
• Market Expansion: Expand presence in wind energy, cranes, mining, marine, heavy OEMs, cement, steel, and infrastructure sectors.
• Key Accounts: Manage marquee OEM and global accounts; negotiate LTAs and framework agreements; act as escalation point.
• Technical Selling: Lead application?based selling; support bearing selection, design interfaces, life calculations, and customization.
• Pricing & Margins: Define pricing strategy; protect gross margins; ensure quotation discipline and contract risk management.
• Order Execution: Own forecasting and pipeline; coordinate with PPC, SCM, Manufacturing, and Quality for OTIF delivery.
• Team Leadership: Build and lead OEM, aftermarket, and export sales teams; define targets, incentives, and capability development.
• Channels: Develop and manage dealers, distributors, and regional channel partners.
• Market Intelligence: Track competition, imports, customer strategies, and technology trends; provide inputs on capex and product roadmap.
