Job summary

Weekday AI (YC W21) is seeking an industrial coatings sales professional based in Jaipur or nearby areas to drive new business and manage key accounts. The role focuses on direct-to-metal and epoxy paints, coordinating with technical teams, and delivering on sales targets.

Responsibilities include presentations, quotations, and maintaining CRM records while ensuring timely collections and smooth order fulfilment. Prior experience in industrial paint sales is preferred for this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of sales experience in industrial coatings or paints.
• Identify and develop new business in target industries.
• Manage and grow existing key accounts with repeat business.
• Achieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets and volume/value goals.
• Conduct product presentations and technical demonstrations for coating applications.
• Coordinate with technical teams to resolve customer issues.
• Prepare and negotiate quotations, pricing, and contracts within margins.
• Maintain sales pipeline, forecasts, and CRM records.
• Ensure timely collections and order fulfilment.

Requirements

• Identify and develop new business in target industries (fabrication, automotive components, appliances, furniture, architectural, oil & gas, etc.)
• Manage and grow existing key accounts, ensuring repeat business and high customer retention
• Achieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets and volume/value goals
• Conduct product presentations and technical demonstrations for coating applications
• Coordinate with technical/application teams to resolve customer issues (adhesion, finish quality, curing, color matching)
• Prepare and negotiate quotations, pricing, and contracts within approved margins
• Maintain accurate sales pipeline, forecasts, and CRM records
• Collect and process customer feedback for product improvement
• Ensure timely collections and manage outstanding receivables
• Coordinate with production/logistics for order fulfilment and delivery schedules
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
