Job summary

Rockway Weighbridge Technologies seeks a dynamic Field Sales professional in Pune to drive new business and lead generation for weighbridge installations.

You will present electronic weighbridges, pit/pitless scales, and unmanned automation solutions, study tenders, and prepare proposals. Regular field travel is expected to nurture client relations from inquiry to installation.

Qualifications

• Graduate or BE/B.Tech in Electronics, Mechanical, or related field.
• 4–5 years of field sales experience in industrial equipment or weighbridge/scale industry.
• Understanding of load cells, indicator systems, foundation civil work (pit vs. pitless), and Legal Metrology standards.
• Strong communication, B2B negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Willingness to travel regularly.

Responsibilities

• Identify B2B clients via cold calling, field visits, industry directories, and inbound queries.
• Pitch weighbridge solutions and demonstrations to clients.
• Study tender documents, prepare technical proposals, cost estimations, and commercial quotes with internal teams.
• Negotiate commercial terms, close orders, and coordinate handoffs with service and production teams.
• Coordinate post-sale client relations and assist installation/calibration.

• New Business Development & Lead Generation: Prospect B2B clients via cold calling, field visits, industry directories, and inbound queries.
• Target Industry Focus: Identify projects and facilities in manufacturing, logistics, mining, agriculture, waste management, and construction requiring weighbridge installations.
• Technical Pitching & Demonstrations: Present electronic weighbridges, pit/pitless scales, and unmanned automation/software solutions to clients.
• Tender & Proposal Management: Study tender documents, prepare technical proposals, cost estimations, and commercial quotes in coordination with internal technical/estimating teams.
• Deal Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate commercial terms, finalize orders, and coordinate execution handoffs with service and production teams.
• Post-Sale Relationship Management: Maintain client relations, follow up on order status/delivery, and support initial coordination for installation and calibration.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: Graduate or BE/B.Tech (preferably in Electronics, Mechanical, or related engineering fields).
• Experience: 4 to 5 years of field sales experience in industrial equipment, instrumentation, or the weighbridge/scale industry.
• Technical Aptitude: Understanding of load cells, indicator systems, foundation civil work (pit vs. pitless), and Legal Metrology standards.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, B2B negotiation, presentation abilities, and readiness for regular field travel.
• Mobility: Valid two-wheeler driving license and vehicle (frequently mandatory for site
