Job summary

Lloyds Steels in Mumbai is seeking a Sales Engineer to support the Mining to Metals (Steel) segment, handling projects like Iron Beneficiation, Pellet, DRI and heavy engineering equipment. The role requires 2–4 years of experience and a B.E./B.Tech/Dip in Mechanical Engineering, with location in Lower Parel, Mumbai.

You will assist in tendering, prepare techno-commercial offers, coordinate with design and projects teams, and travel for customer visits and site meetings when required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of reading drawings, mechanical equipment and industrial processes.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and site visits when required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of tendering, techno-commercial offers, quotations, and business proposals.
• Coordinate and support customer presentations, technical discussions, and meetings.
• Coordinate with Design, Engineering, Projects, and Commercial teams for timely proposal preparation and order execution.
• Assist in tracking and following up on customer enquiries, tenders, and upcoming projects.
• Support business development activities through customer visits, site meetings, inspections, conferences, seminars, exhibitions, and industry events.
• Maintain regular follow-ups with customers and internal teams to ensure timely closure of enquiries and opportunities.
