Job summary

Reliserv Solution in Navi Mumbai is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to drive technical sales for Control & Relay Panel products, protection and substation automation. You will engage clients, review drawings, prepare quotations, and guide projects from inquiry to order closure.

The ideal candidate has BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, 1–5 years in technical sales of switchgear or CRP products, strong communication, and willingness to be based in Navi Mumbai or relocate.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
• 1 to 5 years of relevant experience in technical sales of Control & Relay Panels, Switchgear, or Substation Automation products.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and client-coordination skills.
• Proficient in MS Office / Google Documents and general computer applications.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end technical sales of CRP, Protection & Control Panels, and Electrical Control Panels for substation and switchgear projects.
• Prepare and submit techno-commercial quotations, negotiate terms, and close orders with customers.
• Review and interpret SLDs and other Electrical Drawings to understand project and panel requirements.
• Coordinate with clients and vendors on Panel Wiring, Control Wiring, and drawing approvals for Relay Panels.
• Select appropriate Protection Relays, Numerical Relays, and Relay Logic configurations based on customer specifications.
• Coordinate Panel Testing, Relay Testing, and Functional Testing activities with clients, vendors, and manufacturers.
• Support FAT/SAT and Commissioning activities for CRP and Substation Automation systems.
• Troubleshoot technical queries related to Switchgear and Electrical Protection Systems.

We are hiring an experienced Sales Engineer for our Control & Relay Panel (CRP) product line. The ideal candidate will drive technical sales of Protection & Control Panels, Electrical Control Panels, and Relay Panels, working closely with clients, vendors, and internal engineering teams to manage the complete sales cycle from technical inquiry to order closure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle end-to-end technical sales of Control & Relay Panels, Protection & Control Panels, and Electrical Control Panels for substation and switchgear projects.
• Prepare and submit techno-commercial quotations, negotiate terms, and close orders with customers.
• Review and interpret Schematic / Single-Line Diagrams (SLD) and other Electrical Drawings to understand project and panel requirements.
• Coordinate with clients and vendors on Panel Wiring, Control Wiring, and drawing approvals for Relay Panels.
• Select appropriate Protection Relays, Numerical Relays, and Relay Logic configurations based on customer specifications and project scope.
• Coordinate Panel Testing & Inspection, Relay Testing, and Functional Testing activities with clients, vendors, and manufacturers.
• Support and coordinate Factory Acceptance Testing / Site Acceptance Testing (FAT / SAT) and Commissioning activities for CRP and Substation Automation systems.
• Troubleshoot technical queries related to Switchgear, Electrical Protection Systems, and Control & Relay Panels raised by clients or the execution team.
• Coordinate with CRP panel manufacturers on production progress, delivery schedules, and quality compliance.
• Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for CRP and Substation Automation projects, and support the procurement team in technical evaluation of equipment.
• Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Control & Relay Panel and Substation Automation market.
• Work towards achieving individual and team sales targets, and provide regular sales performance reports.
• Collaborate with the tendering and engineering teams during technical evaluation of tender-stage offers.
