TBEA in Jabalpur is seeking a Sr. Engineer/Assistant Manager for Sales and Marketing in the CRO. The role targets Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Rajasthan with 4–8 years in business development for 400KV/765KV transformers and related products.

BE in Electrical/Mechanical is required, with a local preference for MP/RAJ regions. Primary duties include demand generation, order booking, project coordination, and customer relationship management.

Qualificações

• BE in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering is required.

Responsabilidades

• Develop a business plan and regional sales strategy to meet targets, coordinate projects, and manage revenues and collections.
• Lead generation and order acquisition from utilities, PSUs, and private customers in Power/Energy/Industry sectors.
• Provide pre-tender support and ensure timely bid submissions.
• Achieve budgeted order bookings and revenue targets; monitor EBIT impact.
• Profile customers across utilities, buildings, contracts, and channel partners to identify requirements.
• Maintain relationships with existing customers and expand the client base with new opportunities.
• Search tender information on utilities portals and procurement sites to source opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal teams and customers for timely bid submissions and documentation.
• Handle prequalification, vendor registration, and renewal in relevant portals.
• Prepare MIS reports weekly/monthly/quarterly with the internal team and leadership.
• Collect market intel, competitor data, bid openings, and win/loss analyses for reporting.
• Assist in resolving customer issues related to sales and service aspects.
• Carry out any additional duties as assigned by the Reporting Authority.

Job Responsibilities:

• 1. Develop a business plan and Sales strategies to achieve Regional sales targets, Project coordination, Revenues, and collections as per the company's business goals.
• 2. Lead generation and Acquisition of Orders from Utilities, PSU, and Private customers, especially in the Power, Energy, Industry, and Infra sectors.
• 3. Pre-tender support.
• 4. Order Booking: Ensure achievement of the budgeted order booking target.
• 5. To achieve the Budget Target (Order Intake, Revenue, collection, EBIT)
• 6. Customer Profiling: Understand the customer requirements from different fields like utilities, Building segment, contract segment, channel partners, industries, etc.
• 7. Keep regular interaction with existing customers and maintain good relationships. Also, expansion of new clients/business.
• 8. Searching for new tender information on websites of Utilities, Procurement Portals and Tenders information sites, Consultantsetc.
• 9. Coordinating with Internal departments and customers to ensure the timely completion of bid submission.
• 10. Responsible for the prequalification process, vendor registration, and renewal of registration in portals,
• 11. Prepare MIS reports, weekly/monthly/quarterly reports, in coordination with the internal team and superior.
• 12. Collect and maintain market information, Competitors data, Bid opening details, Win-loss analysis, and preparation of reports
• 13. Support and resolve customer issues/complaints in sales and service aspects
• 14. Any other specific/additional responsibilities as assigned by the Reporting Authority / Head of the Department.

Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Functional Competency:

Graduate in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering with Experience of 4 to 08 years in Business Development and sales/marketing activities of 400KV/ 765KV class transformers and reactors.

Sound in Sales with a positive attitude, Strong communicator, cross-functional team player, facilitator. Should have excellent negotiation skills & Interpersonal Skills, Self-starter and Good team player, Dynamic, and result-oriented
