Role & responsibilities

Electrical Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving sales of electrical products (IIS- Low Voltage Electrical Distribution Systems) and solutions by combining technical expertise with strong customer relationship skills. The role involves identifying business opportunities, supporting clients with technical solutions, and achieving sales targets within the assigned region.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with Electrical consultants, contractors, OEMs, and end-users
• Promote and sell electrical products such as Non Metallic panels, enclosures, and industrial solutions
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base
• Prepare techno-commercial proposals and follow up on quotations
• Conduct product presentations, technical discussions, and site visits
• Coordinate with internal teams (design, logistics, and service) for order execution
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies
• Ensure timely collection of payments from customers

Requirements

• Education: Electrical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech or equivalent)
• Experience: 26 years in electrical product sales or industrial sales
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and products
• Good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Ability to travel within Ahmedabad and nearby regions

Preferred Skills

• Experience in handling government or railway projects
• Familiarity with consultants and EPC contractors
• Knowledge of tendering and project sales cycle
• CRM software usage and basic MS Office proficiency
