Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer role based in Mumbai. The Sales Engineer will identify and develop new business opportunities for fire extinguishers, hydrant, sprinkler, and alarm systems, while maintaining relationships with existing clients. Daily responsibilities include meeting with prospective customers, understanding their technical and safety requirements, preparing proposals and quotations, and providing product demonstrations. The role involves coordinating with the technical team for system design, installation planning, and after-sales support, as well as addressing customer queries and ensuring timely resolution of issues. The Sales Engineer will also track sales performance, support tenders and bid submissions, and stay updated on relevant fire safety standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong Sales Engineering skills with the ability to bridge technical solutions and customer requirements.
• Experience in Sales and Customer Service, including lead generation, relationship management, and after-sales support.
• Technical Support capabilities for fire protection systems, including basic understanding of hydrant, sprinkler, and alarm systems.
• Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, for presentations, proposals, and client interactions.
• Preferred background in engineering, fire and safety, or a related technical field.
• Knowledge of fire protection standards, local codes, and industry best practices is an advantage.
• Proficiency in using CRM tools and basic office software for reporting and documentation.
• Ability to work on-site, travel to client locations in and around Mumbai, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
