Job summary

Leap Scholar in Pune, India seeks a results-oriented student counselor to lead online counseling sessions for study-abroad aspirants. You will guide course selections, university choices, and help with application filings while maintaining a strong follow-up pipeline to achieve enrollment targets.

Experience in study abroad or Edtech is preferred; you should be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment and be comfortable using CRM tools to manage leads and drive

Responsibilities

• Conduct online telephonic and/or virtual counseling sessions with students interested in studying abroad.
• Guide students on courses to opt for based on profile and interests.
• Assist students in deciding on universities/colleges and programs to apply to.
• Assist in preparing and filing applications.
• Maintain follow-ups and a high conversion pipeline to meet enrollment targets.
• Use CRM tools to manage leads and ensure timely follow-up and closure.
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure smooth student experience.
• Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for student conversions.

About the Role :

Leap Scholar is a one-stop platform for any aspirant wishing to study abroad. It is a transaction platform for students to apply to the university of choice.

The charter for this role will include :

• Conduct online telephonic and/or virtual counseling sessions with students interested in studying abroad
• Guide students on what courses to opt for based on their profile and interests
• Assist students in deciding on the universities/colleges and programs to apply to
• Assist in preparing and filing their applications
• Maintain follow-ups and a high conversion pipeline to meet enrollment targets
• Use CRM tools to manage leads efficiently and ensure timely follow-up and closure
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure smooth student experience
• Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for student conversions
