Job summary

Lenskart in Kapurthala is seeking a store associate to welcome customers, guide them through their shopping journey and explain eyewear features and services.

You will manage daily stock counts, receive shipments, replenish displays, handle POS cash and card transactions, and ensure a clean, organized store following SOPs and VM guidelines.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a retail customer service role is preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory handling and store maintenance.
• Ability to follow SOPs and cash handling

Responsibilities

• Meet & greet customers and assist throughout the shopping journey.
• Share product features and benefits with customers.
• Explain services, build trust and loyalty, resolve queries pre- and post-sale.
• Ensure on-time product delivery to customers.
• Daily quick count of all PIDs and manage inventory counts.
• Receive bulk shipments and mark received in the system.
• Daily replenishment to fill display gaps.
• Check damaged inventory and place in designated area.
• Highlight inventory mismatches to Store Manager.
• Follow VM guidelines, maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the store.
• Update SOPs files daily and reconcile cash & card sales

Customer Services

• Meet & Greet the customers
• Assisting customers throughout the shopping journey
• Sharing product features & benefit with the customers

• Resolving Customers queries pre & post Sale
• Ensure product delivery to the customer on time
• Receive feedback from the customer on services & product

Inventory Management

• Daily quick count of all the PIDs available in the store
• Receive bulk shipment , physical count & mark receive in the system on daily basis
• Daily replenishment to fill the display gap
• Check the bad inventorydamage product & keep it on designated place
• Ensure daily handover & receiving product from VRX through HOP app
• Highlight inventory mismatchdiscrepancy to the Store Manager

Operational Process

• Following the VM guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness & hygiene in the store
• Update all the SOPs file on daily basis
• Reconcile daily cash & card sale
