Job summary

Dodhia Group is seeking a Sales Assistant Exports with a technical textiles background to support the Export Sales team in customer coordination, quotations, order processing, documentation and sales MIS.

The role requires 1–3 years of experience in textile exports or export sales support, strong MS Excel skills, and good coordination abilities. You will liaise with production, quality, planning, freight forwarders, and overseas customers from Mumbai.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Textile Engineering/Technology/ Textile Chemistry/ Textile Manufacturing or related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience, preferably in textile/yarn exports or export sales support.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office; basic export documentation understanding.

Responsibilities

• Handle and record export sales enquiries and coordinate responses.
• Assist in preparing quotations, offers and proforma invoices.
• Understand basic yarn/product specifications and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality and Planning to meet customer needs and orders.
• Process confirmed export orders and track production and dispatch schedules.
• Coordinate export documentation including invoices, packing lists and shipping documents.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA/customs agents and logistics partners.
• Communicate with overseas customers regarding enquiries, order status and shipments.
• Share shipment and dispatch details with customers.
• Maintain enquiry, quotation, order and customer records.
• Prepare sales MIS and support monthly sales reporting.
• Follow up on pending enquiries, quotations, orders and documentation.

• Excellent communication and email drafting skills.
• Strong coordination, follow-up and attention to detail.
• ERP/CRM knowledge will be an advantage.
