Job summary

Exide Industries in Mumbai seeks an engineering professional to evaluate projects, collect customer feedback, and prepare tenders and offers. You will identify growth opportunities, read technical drawings, and handle installation and routine maintenance of battery systems.

Site visits and troubleshooting of electrical faults are key duties, with follow-ups on orders and payments. The candidate should hold a BE in Electrical/Electronics or a related Diploma and have 3+ years of relevant

Qualifications

• B.E or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics as preferred education.
• 3+ years of experience in relevant industries, preferably electronics.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate projects and collect feedback from existing and prospective customers.
• Experience on preparation of Tender and offer to the customer.
• Identify new opportunities (product/ market) for future growth.
• Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data from different sites (e.g., GEM).
• Read drawings to understand technical requirements from customers.
• Installation and maintenance: installing battery chargers/battery banks/DCDB/ACDB/BHMS, routine maintenance, repairs.
• Site visits to understand job requirements for modification and service.
• Troubleshoot electrical/circuit faults and complex issues.
• Follow up with customers for order optimization and for payments.
• Generate weekly and daily reports and maintain proper documentation.
• Meet with internal teams on different issues.

• Site visit to understand the requirement of job in respect of modification and service
• Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues and electrical/ Circuit , etc. faults.
• Follow-up with customer for order optimization
• Follow up with customer for payment
• Generations of different weekly and daily reports.
• Proper documentation Meeting with internal teams on different issues.

Preferred candidate profile

• B.E or 3 years Diploma in Electrical/Electronics
• 3+ years of experience in relevant industries preferably electronics
