Job summary

Radisson Blu Hotel New Delhi Paschim Vihar is seeking a skilled Banquet Sales professional to handle enquiries, proposals, contracts, and event coordination. You will work with corporate clients, weddings, conferences and social events to convert inquiries into confirmed bookings.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in Banquet/Hospitality sales, strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, and a Diploma or degree in Hotel Management.

Qualifications

• Graduate/Diploma in Hotel Management or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in Banquet Sales, Hotel Sales, Events or Hospitality.
• Experience handling corporate events, Weddings, Conferences and social functions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle banquet enquiries, calls, emails and walk-in enquiries professionally.
• Understand client requirements and recommend venues, menus, packages, and event arrangements.
• Prepare and share quotations, proposals, contracts and event documentation.
• Conduct banquet venue show-rounds for prospective clients and explain facilities.
• Follow up to convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
• Coordinate with Banquets, F&B, Kitchen, Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, Finance and other departments.
• Prepare and communicate Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and document arrangements.
• Assist in negotiating rates, packages, menus, and other commercial terms.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, wedding planners, event agencies and other key accounts.
• Monitor bookings and ensure billing, deposits, and payments.

Job Description

• Handle banquet enquiries, telephone calls, emails, and walk‑in enquiries professionally and promptly.
• Understand client requirements and recommend suitable banquet venues, menus, packages, and event arrangements.
• Prepare and share quotations, proposals, contracts, and event‑related documentation with clients.
• Conduct banquet venue/show‑rounds for prospective clients and explain available facilities and services.
• Follow up regularly with prospective clients to convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, enquiries, tentative bookings, confirmed functions, and revenue.
• Coordinate with Banquets, F&B, Kitchen, Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, Finance, and other departments for successful event execution.
• Prepare and communicate Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and ensure all agreed arrangements are properly documented.
• Assist in negotiating rates, packages, menus, and other commercial terms within approved guidelines.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, wedding planners, event agencies, and other key accounts.
• Monitor banquet bookings and ensure proper billing, deposits, payment follow‑ups, and financial documentation.
• Handle guest/client concerns professionally and ensure timely resolution.
• Conduct post‑event follow‑ups to obtain feedback and encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Support the Banquet Sales Manager in achieving monthly revenue and business targets.
• Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and local events to identify potential business opportunities.
• Maintain professional standards of guest service, grooming, communication, and hotel brand representation.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, SOPs, and applicable operational procedures

Qualifications

• Qualification: Graduate/Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: 2–4 years of relevant experience in Banquet Sales / Hotel Sales / Events / Hospitality, preferably in a reputed hotel.
• Experience in handling corporate events, weddings, conferences, and social functions will be an advantage.
