Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Sales Engineer, based in Pune. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for identifying and developing business opportunities, understanding customer needs, and providing technical solutions. The role involves preparing and delivering technical presentations, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure project requirements are met. The Sales Engineer will maintain strong client relationships and contribute to the company’s growth by achieving sales targets and exploring new markets.

Candidate Profile

• 0–5 years of experience in technical B2B sales (steel structures experience is a MUST)
• Strong communication, negotiation & presentation skills
• Experience in lead generation and client meetings
• Ability to understand drawings and technical specifications
• Very good command of English
• Willingness to travel when required

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Mechanical / Structural Engineering / Architecture
• MBA (Marketing) – Preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and manage sales leads for PEB steel structure projects and PIR sandwich panels
• Handle and update CRM
• Coordinate with sales and design teams
• Maintain sales and project records
• Understand client requirements and propose suitable technical solutions
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
• Prepare Quote Request Forms (QRFs)
