Job summary

Ubifly Technologies is seeking a Safety Support Assistant to provide essential on-ground logistical and operational support. The role includes PPE storage, inventory control, and assisting with emergency drills and safety checks on the shop floor.

The candidate should have at least 12th standard education, basic English/Tamil communication, and either fresh or 1–2 years of experience in shop-floor support or safety-related tasks. Exposure to industrial stores and basic fire safety is a plus.

Qualifications

• Passed 12th Standard (Higher Secondary).
• Basic reading and writing communication skills in English and Tamil.
• Freshers with strong organizational capabilities or 1–2 years of experience in shop-floor support, store-keeping, or basic safety/warehouse assistance.
• Previous exposure to industrial store handling, basic fire extinguisher usage, or EHS support roles.
• PPE storage and inventory management, material handling, basic safety equipment log-keeping, clear verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage the issuance, receiving, cleaning, and organized storage of PPE and high-voltage safety kits.
• Maintain up-to-date physical registers and logbooks for safety gear maintenance, inspection schedules, and inventory reorder levels.
• Provide ground support during emergency evacuation drills, fire safety demonstrations, and safety training sessions.
• Assist safety managers during routine shop-floor inspections by documenting basic physical hazards or housekeeping issues.
• Coordinate receipt and placement of vendor deliveries for safety equipment and emergency suppression tools.
