Job summary

ePlane Company is seeking a Safety Support Assistant to provide on-ground logistical and operational help. The role involves managing PPE storage, maintaining inventory, and supporting safety drills and shop-floor safety checks.

The position values candidates with a High School education, basic English and Tamil, and up to 2 years of shop-floor or warehouse safety experience. Freshers may apply; prior exposure to industrial store handling is a plus.

Qualifications

• Mandatory: Passed 12th Standard (Higher Secondary).
• Mandatory: Basic reading/writing in English and Tamil.
• Mandatory Experience: Fresher or 1–2 years in shop-floor support or safety/warehouse roles.

Responsibilities

• Manage issuance, receiving, cleaning, and storage of PPE and high-voltage safety kits.
• Maintain physical registers and logbooks for safety gear maintenance and inventory.
• Support evacuation drills, fire safety demos, and safety training sessions.
• Assist safety managers during shop-floor inspections and document hazards.

Qualifications & Skills

• MandatoryQualifications: Passed 12th Standard (Higher Secondary).
• MandatoryCommunication Skills: Basic reading and writing communication skills in English and Tamil(proficiency in additional regional languages is a plus).
• MandatoryExperience: Freshers with strong organizational capabilities or 1–2 years ofexperience in shop-floor support, store-keeping, or basic safety/warehouseassistance.
• PreferredExperience: Previous exposure to industrial store handling, basic fire extinguisherusage, or EHS support roles.
• PrimarySkills: PPEstorage and inventory management, material handling, basic safetyequipment log-keeping, clear verbal communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Managethe issuance, receiving, cleaning, and organized storage of PersonalProtective Equipment (PPE) and high-voltage safety kits.
• Maintainup-to-date physical registers and logbooks for safety gear maintenance,inspection schedules, and inventory re-order levels.
• Provideground support during emergency evacuation drills, fire safetydemonstrations, and safety training sessions.
• Assistsafety managers during routine shop-floor inspections by documenting basicphysical hazards or housekeeping issues.
• Coordinatereceipt and placement of vendor deliveries for safety equipment andemergency suppression tools.
