Sigma Engineered Solutions in Pune is seeking a Dy. Manager EHHS to lead safety, health and environment programs at Unit III.

You will ensure regulatory compliance, oversee risk assessments and drive continuous improvements across manufacturing operations. This role requires a strong background in industrial safety, hands-on experience with OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001, and the ability to train staff and liaise with government authorities.

Qualifications

• Engineering/Science graduate or diploma with relevant safety qualifications.
• 8–10 years in engineering sector.
• 5–7 years as safety officer in process/engineering industry.
• Hands-on experience implementing OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001.

Responsabilités

• Ensure workplace safety regulations compliance.
• Conduct Safety Audits as per plans.
• Ensure Legal compliance of various Statutes as per applicability.
• Imparting EHS Trainings to Employees as per calendar.
• Prepare, Update and rehearse Emergency Preparedness plan.
• Maintain documents as per OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001 Systems.
• Liaison with Government Officials for all Safety related legal compliance.
• Conduct HIRA & AIS Study.
• Coordinate for ESG data reporting and drive ESG improvement initiatives.

Key Role & Responsibilities

To ensure workplace Safety regulations.
To conduct Safety Audits as per plans.
To ensure Legal compliance of various Statutes as per applicability.

Qualification & Experience Required

Engineering/Science Graduate/Diploma Mechanical & Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety
8-10 years of Experience in engineering company out of which 5-7 years must have worked as safety officer in
process/Engineering industry, Hands on experience on implementation of safety and OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001
Standards.

Personal Characteristic

This position requires both technical and leadership skills in order to ensure the employees Safety, Health &
Environment, Key skills / knowledge required are
Working knowledge of workplace safety, health & Environment act & related applicable legislations.
Knowledge of Safety Audit, HIRA / AIS, Shall have worked on OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001 system & standard.
Knowledge of the interface between labour and management in workplace.
Ability to maintain effective work relationship.
Able to train the workforce on EOHS Topics.
Good Oral & written communication skill.

At Manufacturing plants and Office Facilities situated in Chakan, Pune.
