Job summary

Kunshan Q Tech Microelectronics seeks an experienced EHS specialist to support plant safety and operations, focusing on process safety and fire safety preparedness. The role involves monitoring permits, conducting risk analyses, and maintaining EHS documentation.

Responsibilities include training staff, ensuring compliance of equipment, and coordinating safety inductions and contractor safety programs across our manufacturing site.

Qualifications

• Exposure to ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of environment regulation would be an added advantage.

Roles and Responsibilities

• 1. To provide technical and operational support to plant safety & operations team for planning & implementation of process safety & fire safety preparedness measures.
• 2. Monitoring the work permits and other activities in Factory premises to ensure safe working.
• 3. Conducting risk analysis and ensuring the proper solution to avoid the risk & hazard.
• 4. Record keeping and documentation of EHS related work.
• 5. Inspection of machines, tools and other equipments to ensure the compliance and safe working.
• 6. Checking of firefighting and detection system to ensure the proper working.
• 7. Training to the workers and staff.
• 8. Ensuring the safety induction of workers in co-ordination.
• 9. Ensuring contractors safety programme.
• 10. To coordinate and deliver safety trainings.
• 11. Management Representative (MR) for ISO 14001:2004 & OHSAS 18001:2007.
• 12. Implement EHS Policies & SOPs to meet the regulatory compliances.
• 13. Planning, scheduling and conducting training on safety.
• 14. Implementation and monitoring of work permit system.
• 15. Accident investigation, root cause analysis and CAPA and maintain the record.
• 16. Maintain PPEs, Fire Safety System, First Aid facilities, etc
• 17. Safety visit at site for Internal Audit regarding the implementation & maintenance of safety system as per the standards

Desired Candidate Profile

Exposure of OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001 and any other standards would be an advantage. Knowledge of environment regulation would be an added advantage.

Preferred candidate profile

Should have exposure in electronics/manufacturing industry.
