Job Description

• Safety Compliance & Regulations
• Ensure compliance with local safety regulations at all sites and inspections like O&M work.
• Effective implementation of basic Safety like PTW, Toolbox Talk, LOTO, LMRA, Vendor's compliance, etc.
• Lead various training and mock drills for all site teams.
• Ensure strict HSE compliance by self and others at site & adherence to systems and processes.
• Conduct site inspections to identify potential hazards.
• Risk Assessment & Hazard Control
• Implement HSE with the guidance of HSE.
• Monitor work execution as per HIRA, AIA, SOPs, WIs, safety guidelines, etc., and take necessary steps/actions to avoid recurrence by the team.
• Training & Awareness
• Plan, organize, and coordinate safety programs, applying engineering principles and technology to prevent or correct unsafe safety & environmental working conditions.
• Conduct safety training for technicians on proper handling of equipment and hazardous materials.
• Educate workers on emergency response procedures, including fire safety and first aid.
• Promote awareness of proper lifting techniques and ergonomics.
• Incident Investigation & Reporting
• Investigate accidents and near-miss incidents to determine causes.
• Prepare reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain safety records and documentation.
• Emergency Preparedness & Response
• Develop emergency response plans for workspaces.
• Ensure fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and evacuation routes are in place.
• Train employees in handling high work, electrical failures.
• Equipment & Worksite Safety
• Inspect and maintain tools, ladders, scaffolding, and lifting equipment.
• Ensure safe handling of materials.
• Monitor ventilation to prevent exposure to toxic fumes.
• Coordination & Communication
• Visit other sites (OMS) for HSE audits and submit reports as directed.
• Work with management to integrate safety into daily operations.
