BVG India Limited is seeking a Stores Supervisor for a Solar EPC site. The role involves receiving, storing, and issuing materials, ensuring inventory accuracy, safety, and timely supply to project teams.

The candidate should have a Diploma/ITI/Graduate with store management certification, and about 25 years of experience in stores/inventory management, preferably in Solar or EPC projects. ERP literacy (SAP/Tally) and strong Excel skills are required.

Responsabilidades

• Receive, inspect, and document incoming materials (mechanical, electrical, civil).
• Verify material deliveries against purchase orders and delivery challans.
• Ensure safe storage of materials following HSE guidelines.
• Issue materials to site teams based on MIS/indents.
• Maintain stock records in ERP or manual registers.
• Conduct stock audits and inventory reporting.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and project teams for material planning.
• Tag, label, and stack materials for identification.
• Monitor consumption and flag shortages or slow-moving items.
• Handle GRN, MIS, stock registers, and related documentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the store area.
• Manage returns of unused or defective items.

Job Title: Stores Supervisor Solar EPC Site

Reports to: Site Store In-Charge / Project Manager

Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Stores Supervisor to manage the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials at our solar EPC project site. The candidate will ensure accurate inventory management, adherence to safety and quality standards, and support project execution by maintaining material availability at all times.
Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and document incoming materials (mechanical, electrical, civil, etc.)
• Verify material deliveries against purchase orders and delivery challans.
• Ensure safe storage of materials in compliance with company and HSE guidelines.
• Issue materials to site teams based on indents/Material Issue Slips (MIS).
• Maintain accurate records of stock in ERP or manual registers.
• Conduct daily/weekly/monthly stock audits and submit inventory reports.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and project teams for material planning.
• Tagging, labeling, and proper stacking of materials for easy identification.
• Monitor material consumption and flag shortages or slow-moving items.
• Handle documentation such as GRN (Goods Receipt Note), MIS, stock registers, etc.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the store area.
• Manage returns of unused or defective items to vendors/suppliers.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Diploma / ITI / Graduate (Any discipline); Certification in Store Management is a plus.
• Experience: 25 years of experience in stores/inventory management, preferably in Solar or EPC projects.
• Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of solar materials (modules, inverters, cables, structures, etc.)
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Tally, or site-based inventory tools)
• Good MS Excel and record-keeping skills

• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work in remote and fast-paced site environments
• Coordination and communication skills
• Basic understanding of electrical/mechanical items (preferred)

Work Conditions:

• Must be willing to stay and work at remote project sites for extended durations.
