Job summary

JSW MG Motor India Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced EHS professional to implement policies, procedures and management systems in line with ISO and OHSAS standards, with a strong focus on zero accidents and fire safety.

The role requires maintaining fire safety systems, signaling and de‑escalation of incidents, and driving preventive maintenance of safety equipment. Strong communication and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing EHS policies and management systems including ISO 18001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001.
• Strong knowledge of statutory compliance and safety audits.
• Excellent communication and relationship management with ability to mentor teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement EHS policies, procedures and training aligned with international standards.
• Manage safety within and around battery limits with focus on zero accidents and fire prevention.
• Maintain and monitor fire safety systems; deploy fire personnel 24/7.
• Drive preventive maintenance of fire and safety equipment.
• Design and deploy traffic management to prevent accidents.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Implementing EHS Policies/ Procedure , Management systems, plans, training programs and general procedures while utilizing the Behaviour Based Safety Standards and latest international ISO & OHSAS standards including 18001, 14001 & 9001 and Process Safety Standards.
• Managing the safety within and out of battery limit with key focus on zero accident and no loss due to fire. Excellent communication & relationship management skills with demonstrated abilities in mentoring motivated teams/ workforce.
• Maintaining fire safety system and monitoring, controlling & deploying fire personnel round the clock.
• To drive preventive maintenance program of fire and safety equipment
• Designing and deploying traffic management and its control to prevent accident.

Preferred candidate profile

• Sound knowledge on Statutory compliances like OHS Code, Factory Act/rules, Audits, Emergency preparedness & Mock drill with reference to HSE.
• Functional expertise in managing the safety with key focus on zero accident
• Should have excellent communication & Stakeholder management skills with abilities in mentoring motivated teams/ workforce.
