Job summary

ICICI Lombard is seeking a Risk Engineer (Chemical) to lead risk engineering initiatives for chemical, petrochemical, power, and related industries. The role involves conducting fire safety audits, HAZOP studies, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards.

The position is based in Vadodara/Hyderabad with a minimum of 4 years of experience required. Candidates will perform audits of machinery and safety equipment, review design modifications for conformance with safety codes, and

Qualifications

• Carry out and perform risk engineering initiatives in line with the guidelines and policies of the company.
• Develop, evaluate & implement systems/procedures for specialized Risk Engineering Services for Chemical, Petrochemical, Power, and related industrial sectors.
• Comprehensive Fire Safety Audits, HAZOP-related studies, Chemical risk audits, and similar risk engineering assignments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out and perform risk engineering initiatives in line with the guidelines and policies of the company.
• Develop, evaluate & implement systems/procedures for specialized Risk Engineering Services for Chemical, Petrochemical, Power, and related industrial sectors.
• Comprehensive Fire Safety Audits, HAZOP-related studies, Chemical risk audits, and similar risk engineering assignments.
• Perform audits of machinery, safety equipment, and management programs to identify and correct potential hazards, ensuring compliance with regulations & standards.
• Work on industrial accidents, causes and preventive measures, analysis, and report or review findings from accident investigations and risk assessments.
• Review and provide design recommendations for new projects and proposed facility modifications to ensure conformance with process safety and loss prevention codes, standards, and procedures.
• Conduct loss prevention studies, present to clients, and work on Risk Solutions including VAS products.
