Job summary

UniLodge Living Group is seeking a Residential Life Coordinator to help build and nurture residential life in student accommodation. You will support residents to balance study and life and provide ongoing wellbeing guidance; you will work with a diverse team and plan engaging events.

This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role emphasizing resilience, hands-on support, and excellent communication, with opportunities for professional development and an inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

  • Valid Working Rights in Australia.
  • National Police Check completed.
  • Working with Children Check (VIC) obtained or willingness to obtain.
  • First Aid & CPR Certificate held or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Residential Life Manager in designing, developing, implementing and managing the Residential Life and Wellbeing Program with a balanced events mix.
  • Monitor and support the wellbeing of residents, providing aid when problems arise.
  • Provide on-call after-hours assistance as the primary contact for residents in relation to all situations that may arise.
  • Play an active role in the incident response and management team during shift times and after-hours and maintain incident records.

Job description

As the Residential Life Coordinator, you will work alongside a team of people to build and nurture residential life in a student accommodation environment. You will play a key role in working with residents to ensure their study/life balance is good and providing support throughout their studies. There are lots of qualities that we look for in our team, but above all we need people who are resilient, supportive, caring, hands on and positive. You will enjoy working with people from diverse backgrounds, as well as planning and running a robust events and activities program. Some of your essential skills include strong written and verbal communication skills, good computer skills, solid planning, and organisational skills and a “we care” attitude.

This is a full-time position offering a Monday to Friday roster!

Your Responsibilities
