Job summary

RSL LifeCare is seeking a Carer for Residential Aged Care in a casual, on-site role in Yass NSW. You will provide personal care, support wellbeing and help residents engage in activities, following care plans and safety protocols.

You will work with a dedicated team to deliver compassionate, person-centred care, while promoting independence and safety. Police/Ndis checks are required prior to commencement, with eligibility for Not-for-profit salary packaging benefits.

About the role:
  • Work collaboratively with residents and their families to provide personal care,
  • Provide quality, timely and effective care that reflects the unique needs of each resident and in accordance with resident care plans,
  • Encourage the wellbeing and independence of residents by supporting them to engage in preferred activities and interests,
  • Embody a person-centred approach, recognising and promoting the individual's unique goals and preferences,
  • Participate in risk management and continuous quality improvement activities,
  • Build strong and productive relationships with your team to deliver positive outcomes for residents.

  • Qualifications in individual support or related work experience are beneficial.

Australian Working Rights.

It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role. Clearances must be verified prior to commencing employment with RSL LifeCare.
