Piramal Pharma Limited is seeking a Research Scientist to contribute to formulation development and GMP manufacturing for solid oral and other dosage forms. The role focuses on delivering projects within timelines and cost targets while adhering to quality standards.

You will work on NCE and generic projects using QbD, prepare literature summaries, develop documentation, and ensure GMP/GDP compliance. Training and mentoring of junior scientists are also part of the role.

Aufgaben

• Development and execution of NCE, generic and line-extension projects using QbD principles.
• Preparation of literature summaries and development reports for the assigned product.
• Execution of formulation development, process development and GMP batch manufacturing for the assigned product.
• Preparation of technical documents like MFC, BMR, BPR and Stability protocols following GDP.
• Adhere to GxP (GMP, GDP, etc.) and train subordinates to comply.
• Scale-up and pilot/clinical batch execution under GMP conditions.
• Calibration and maintenance of R&D instruments and equipment.
• Procurement/indenting of materials and parts for related projects.
• Maintain safe and hygienic conditions in the department.
• Ensure proper use of PPE during batch execution.
• Attend training related to FD, EHS and QA as applicable.
• Ensure waste is sent to the appropriate personnel and complies with EHS.
• Prepare technical presentations and present to clients.
• Train and mentor junior scientists in FD activities.

Job Title Research Scientist

Job Description Delivery of project within timelines, cost and specifications. Formulation development and manufacturing of solid oral and other dosage form.

Job responsibilities are listed below

• Development and execution of NCE projects, generic projects and line extension projects using QbD principle.
• Preparation of literature summary and development report to the assigned product.
• Involve in execution of formulation development, process development and manufacturing of GMP batches to the assigned product.
• Preparation of technical documents like MFC, BMR, BPR and Stability protocol etc. following the GDP.
• Follow GxP (GMP, GDP etc.) for all processes and train the subordinates to follow the same.
• Execution of scale up and pilot/clinical batches in pilot under GMP condition.
• Performing calibration and maintenance of R&D instruments and equipment
• Procuring/ indenting materials and machines change parts related to concern projects
• Maintain safe and hygienic condition in respective department
• Ensuring the use of personal protective equipment whenever required during batch execution
• Attending training related to FD, EHS and QA (as applicable)
• All generated waste to be sent to concerned person and must be comply with EHS requirements
• Preparation of technical presentations and presenting to client
• Training and monitoring of junior scientists for activities related to FD.
