Job summary

Piramal Pharma Limited in India is seeking a Manager - Mechanical to lead maintenance and modifications of API plant equipment, ensuring uptime to meet production targets.

You will supervise a maintenance team, drive CAPEX planning, investigations and CAPA with QA & EHS, and ensure compliance with GMP, EHS guidelines and contractor management.

Qualifications

• BE required; strong knowledge of plant maintenance and CAPEX.
• Experience in API plant equipment maintenance.
• Knowledge of GMP and EHS guidelines.
• Capex preparations and planning experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and modify API plant equipment to meet production targets.
• Ensure uptime of plant equipment and support production targets.
• Lead investigations and close CAPA actions with QA & EHS.
• Train and lead the maintenance team.
• Review and develop SOPs to meet GMP and safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with EHS guidelines and safety standards.
• Oversee contractor management and verify bills.
• Familiar with process equipment like reactor, centrifuge, and mixers; maintenance knowledge.

Job Description

Responsible for API plant equipment maintenance. Responsible for uptime of equipment, modifications, change overs.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for Maintenance & modification works of API Plant equipment.
• Need to maintain uptime of plant equipment to meet production targets.
• Responsible for investigation and CAPA actions closure in alignment with QA & EHS.
• Should have knowledge in Capex preparations, Estimations, planning and Execution.
• Should have Good skills in team management.
• Should have very good collaboration skills with internal and external stake holders.
• Review & Develop procedures/ sop’s to meet current GMP and safety standards.
• Comply with EHS Guidelines and Regulations.
• Should have knowledge in facing EHS & statutory Audits and related documentation.
• Should be good in contractor management, Bills verification.
• Ensure quality work from contractors as per the specifications in timely manner.
• Should have in-depth knowledge in Current safety systems/safe working practices.
• Person should be capable to Train & lead the Team
• Should be familiar with online GMP documentation.
• Should be familiar with Root cause Analysis tools.
• Should be familiar with process equipment like Reactor, centrifuge, ANFD, RCVD, Blender, sifter, multi mill, FBD etc maintenance.
