Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy in Vadodara invites applications for an R&D Trainee to support catalyst and adsorbent development tasks. You will operate fixed-bed test units, analyze products by GC, and keep detailed experimental records under supervision.

Qualification required is a Diploma in Chemical Engineering with 0–3 years of experience; 1-year fixed-bed testing preferred. Freshers may apply if suitable candidates are unavailable. Shift work is expected.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with personnel for upkeep of analytical equipment and reactors.
• Coordinate with teams for 24-hour reactor operation and monitoring.
• Willingness to work in shifts for reactor operation.

Job Objective

Support developmental projects related to catalysts and adsorbents.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate performance of developmental and commercial catalysts/adsorbent materials.
• Operate fixed bed catalyst/adsorbent test units and analyze reaction products using Gas Chromatographs.
• Maintain proper records of daily experimental work and report periodically to supervisor/stakeholders.
• Coordinate with concerned personnel for upkeep of analytical equipment, test units, and fixed bed reactors.
• Coordinate with team members and other departments for 24-hour operation of Reactor Unit.
• Willingness to work in shifts for reactor operation and monitoring.

Other Skills

• Hands-on work with minimal backup support expected after 36 months of training.

Specific Skills

• Knowledge of catalysis/process engineering is preferable.
• Comply with EHS (Environment / Health & Safety) guidelines.
• Participate in company initiatives such as 5S and IMS.
