Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy in Vadodara is seeking a R&D Trainee to support developmental projects related to catalysts and adsorbents. You will evaluate performance, operate fixed bed test units, and analyze reaction products while maintaining meticulous records.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Chemical Engineering with 0-3 years of experience (1 year in fixed bed catalyst testing preferred) and must be willing to work in shifts. Training extends over 36 months with hands-on responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Chemical Engineering is required.
• 0-3 years experience; minimum 1-year experience with fixed bed catalyst testing unit preferred.
• Freshers may be considered if experienced candidates are unavailable.
• Willingness to work in shifts for reactor operation and monitoring.
• Hands-on work with minimal backup support expected after 36 months of training.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate performance of developmental and commercial catalysts/adsorbent materials.
• Operate fixed bed catalyst/adsorbent test units and analyze reaction products using Gas Chromatographs.
• Maintain proper records of daily experimental work and report to supervisor/stakeholders.
• Coordinate with concerned personnel for upkeep of analytical equipment, test units, and fixed bed reactors.
• Coordinate with team members and other departments for 24-hour operation of Reactor Unit.
