Job Summary
We are seeking an Entry‑Level Sales Development Representative (SDR) / Analyst to generate new business opportunities through proactive outbound cold calling and telesales. The SDR will identify and qualify potential clients, initiate conversations, nurture relationships, and pass qualified leads to our broking team. The Analyst will analyse financial documents and assess the quality of enquiries, handing over qualified leads to the broker team.
Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through proactive outbound cold calling and telesales.
- Identify and qualify potential clients, initiate meaningful conversations, and nurture relationships to ultimately pass on qualified leads to our broking team.
- Analyse financial documents and other information provided by prospective clients against internal criteria, assessing the quality of the enquiry and handing over qualified leads to the broker team.
- Foster and nurture relationships with our existing panel of lenders.
- Collaborate closely with the leadership team, including the CEO, CCO, and CTO, contributing to various aspects of operations, sales, and marketing.
- Continuously improve sales, negotiation, and other skills to drive growth for the company.
Requirements
- Junior/entry‑level role: previous experience in sales, customer service, or a related field is preferred.
- Cold‑calling skills: ability to conduct outbound cold calls with confidence and professionalism.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Active listening and ability to identify opportunities.
- Customer‑centric approach and willingness to handle rejection.
- Team player who can collaborate with the broking team.
- Results‑driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Adaptability to changing priorities, strategies, and market conditions.
- Technology proficiency: familiarity with CRM software and Office Suite.
- Basic understanding of financial products and services offered by the firm.
