Job summary

Rupeek in Mumbai is seeking an experienced Relationship Manager for Gold Loan to expand our Gold Loan business across Mumbai, Thane, and Navi Mumbai. You will acquire customers, handle gold valuation/appraisal, explain products, and drive disbursement targets.

The role requires 1 year of Gold Loan sales experience, strong knowledge of KYC and documentation, and the ability to work in a target-driven NBFC environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in Gold Loan sales and gold valuation/appraisal.
• Gold valuation/appraisal experience is mandatory.
• Candidates currently working as Relationship Manager, Gold Loan Officer, Gold Appraiser, Gold Loan Executive, Sales Officer or equivalent roles can apply.
• Strong understanding of Gold Loan products and processes.
• Good knowledge of customer acquisition and local market sourcing.
• Ability to achieve assigned sales and business targets.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Basic understanding of KYC, documentation and branch operations.
• Candidate should be comfortable working in a target-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new customers for Gold Loan products through local market activities, references and lead generation.
• Handle customer enquiries and explain Gold Loan products, interest rates, tenure and repayment options.
• Perform gold valuation/appraisal accurately as per company guidelines.
• Ensure proper assessment of gold ornaments and adherence to valuation processes.
• Complete customer documentation, KYC and loan processing activities.
• Achieve monthly Gold Loan disbursement and business targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Generate repeat and referral business from existing customers.
• Follow up with customers for renewals, interest payments and loan-related requirements.
• Support branch-level sales and operational activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, audit requirements and regulatory processes.
• Maintain accurate records and update customer/loan information in the system.
• Coordinate with branch teams and internal departments for smooth loan processing and customer service.

The Relationship Manager will be responsible for customer acquisition, Gold Loan sales, gold valuation/appraisal, relationship management, documentation and achieving assigned business targets.

Candidates must have prior hands-on experience in the Gold Loan industry, especially in gold valuation/appraisal.
