Job summary

Rupeek is hiring Relationship Managers Gold Appraisers for our Mumbai operations. The role combines gold appraisal, customer acquisition, field sales and relationship management.

You will conduct gold purity checks, valuation and testing, and visit customers for appraisal and loan processing. Candidates should have hands-on experience in the Gold Loan industry and knowledge of KYC, AML and lending compliance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on knowledge of gold purity assessment and jewellery valuation.
• Experience in Gold Loan sales, customer acquisition or relationship management.
• Knowledge of KYC, AML and basic lending compliance.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new customers and generate business for Rupeek's Gold Loan products.
• Handle customer enquiries and explain Gold Loan products, eligibility, interest rates, repayment terms and processes.
• Conduct accurate appraisal of gold jewellery, including purity, weight, quality and valuation.
• Perform gold testing and valuation as per company processes and prescribed guidelines.
• Visit customers for gold appraisal, customer acquisition and loan-related activities, wherever required.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing as well as prospective customers.
• Complete customer KYC and loan documentation accurately.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, lending norms and operational procedures.
• Coordinate with internal teams for smooth loan processing and disbursement.
• Achieve assigned monthly business, sales and productivity targets.
• Generate leads through references, existing customers, local market activities and other approved channels.
• Follow up with customers for renewals, repeat business and cross-selling opportunities.
• Maintain proper records of customer interactions and appraisal-related documentation.
• Deliver a high-quality customer experience throughout the Gold Loan journey.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in Gold Loans / Gold Appraisal is preferred.
  
• Hands-on knowledge of gold purity assessment and jewellery valuation.
  
• Experience in Gold Loan sales, customer acquisition or relationship management.
  
• Candidates from Gold Loan NBFCs, Banks, FinTechs or similar financial institutions will be preferred.
  
• Strong customer handling and communication skills.
  
• Comfortable with field work and customer visits.
  
• Target-oriented and capable of generating business independently.
  
• Knowledge of KYC, AML and basic lending compliance.
  
• Good understanding of the local Mumbai market will be an advantage.
