• Joint custodian of the Vault with safekeeping of pledged securities.
• Keep NPAs in control through follow-ups for interest collections.

• Coach, mentor, and train employees with timely feedback on performance.
• Prepare reports and drive growth of the branch’s business.
• Increase Gold Loan and third-party product sales (NCDs, gold coins).
• Ensure 100% process compliance in valuation at the branch.
• Maintain accurate valuation of pledged gold for audit/compliance.

Job Summary

This position is open with Bajaj Finance Limited. The Branch Manager is a managerial responsibility for providing full leadership and direction to the team of employees in growing business and client base of consumer gold loan. The overall objective of this role is to build customer loyalty and recommend the development of business strategies or initiatives and may include the management of activities by external organizations, and the direct management of individuals.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall branch operations and performance/profitability of the branch.
• Drive and participate in field-marketing activities of various financial products with the team to improve brand visibility.
• Plan, conduct, and monitor branch field-level marketing activities to ensure a healthy pipeline of leads resulting in business conversion and branch growth.
• Focus on customer engagement for new customer acquisitions and retention of existing customers.
• Conduct error-free valuation appraisal of gold ornaments pledged in the branch with correct weight and purity assessment as per company policy and audit/compliance.
• Joint custodian of the Vault with responsibility for safekeeping of pledged securities as per company policies.
• Responsible for keeping NPAs in control through strong follow-ups from the customers for interest collections.
• Good planning abilities are required for smooth functioning of the branch and for developing cohesiveness within the company and co-workers.
• Hiring, coaching, mentoring and training employees and providing them with timely feedback on their performance.
• Maintaining quality performance of the business, preparing various reports of the same and taking necessary actions for growth of business in the branch.
• Increase Gold Loan business, plus various other third-party products i.e., NCDs, Gold Coins sale etc.
• Responsible for correct valuation maintenance of 100% process compliance at the branch.
• Manage error-free valuation appraisal of gold ornaments pledged in the branch with correct weight/purity assessment as per company policy and audit/compliance.

Qualifications and Experience

• 4-7 years of relevant experience required.
• Bachelors Degree/Post-graduation Degree preferred.
• Previous experience in gold loan banking, gold loan products, management or client service preferred.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
