Job Purpose

To impart training to DSE and Sales Managers in order to upgrade their job knowledge through induction and develop their skills through periodic interventions in areas of achieving sales targets and renewal target to impact territory productivity.

Job Context & Major Challenges

• Getting trainees (especially advisors) in training rooms as they are not on the payroll of the company and are not willing to invest time to upbring their capabilities.
• The span is large (managing multiple branches over spread locations and large team of existing & new hires), affecting training.
• Geographical distribution and training infrastructure issues.
• Insufficient Training enablers.

Principal Accountabilities

Implementation of training architecture at the regions to ensure right learning happens, leading to desired capability and performance, impacting stakeholders of mapped units to achieve new sales targets and renewal. Ensure adherence and execution of Training Architecture for DSEs & Sales Managers of mapped units. Adherence to planned Monthly Calendar with minimum 12 training man days excluding fieldwork per month, filling STMS & all other online reports. Focus on achieving same.

Key Accountabilities

• Facilitate improving appearance to pass % of DSEs.
• Aligning with Business & identifying training needs across region, develop content to address gaps.
• Measuring effectiveness of all trainings conducted by self-line vendors & e-learning.
• Create measurable impact on productivity.
• Evaluating employees' current level of knowledge & skills by assessments.
• Conduct specialized programs on managerial for SMs & DSEs across region.
• Implement strategic and operational plans for all learning activity ensuring business needs are met.
• Identify opportunities for enhancing learning proposition and develop innovative, inspiring solutions.
• Liaise with Service and Ops vertical to ensure efficiency of product delivery.
• Maintain key relationships with Managers across BSLI and external providers for effective training solutions.
• Manage Training Administration.
• Work cross-functionally, pro-actively engage stakeholders, prioritize training programs, handle conflicts.
• Champion training across region in BSLI and influence stakeholders.

Relationships

Internal: Sales, daily updates, training related activities to update progress, impart training and upgrade knowledge.

External

Sales Manager, Consultant Trainers: impart training, upgrade training skills, discuss training calendar.
