Job summary

Gyan Dairy in Lucknow, India seeks a Training & Development Specialist to identify and deliver staff development programs. You will coordinate with managers to assess needs, develop content, and implement ongoing training plans across sales, safety, process, and quality areas. Strong Excel skills and LMS experience are required.

The role requires managing multiple projects in a fast-paced FMCG environment with frequent travel across North India. Travel flexibility is essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) and other training software.
• Experience in FMCG, dairy or agriculture industry is a plus.
• Geographical exposure of North India.

Responsibilities

• Identify overall training needs based on operations requirements in coordination with managers.
• Identify individual developmental training needs from supervisor feedback.
• Develop training content based on identified needs.
• Create a training plan and calendar for ongoing staff training.
• Monitor changes in competencies after training and report to supervisor/employees.
• Maintain training records in employee files.
• Facilitate or conduct training on sales, safety, process, quality per Mandatory Training Programs.
• Create and implement mechanisms to measure training effectiveness.
• Develop training modules.
• Proficient in Excel with hands-on experience in dashboards and data analysis.

Role & responsibilities:

• Identify the overall training needs based on the requirement of the operations in coordination with managers and repeat the same in case the processes or technologies change.
• Identify individual developmental training needs of people based on the feedback from the supervisor.
• Based on the training needs, develop the training content for imparting to the people.
• Ensure the development of a training plan and training calendar for imparting training to the staff on an ongoing basis.
• Ensure monitoring of the change in the competencies after the training is done and provide the same for the supervisor/ employees.
• Maintain the record of the training in the employee records.
• Facilitate / Conduct the training on sales, safety, process, quality, etc. as per the requirements of the policies in the Mandatory Training Programs.
• Create and implement different types of mechanisms to measure training effectiveness
• Development of training modules.
• Proficient in Excel with hands-on experience in creating dashboards and data analysis.
