Job summary

ABB Motion in Bengaluru, India, seeks a Logistics Lead to develop and execute the IMEA logistics strategy across the region. You will manage road freight sourcing, supplier onboarding, and performance, ensuring compliant, reliable, and cost-efficient operations.

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, track savings, and support global category initiatives. This role reports to the Head of Trade & Logistics and is onsite in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

• Experience in transportation and logistics sourcing and supplier management.
• Understanding of logistics operations, cost models, financial metrics and performance management.
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic thinking with a continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own regional road freight sourcing activities: RFQs, supplier selection, carrier nominations, negotiations and contract implementation.
• Track savings, drive productivity initiatives and manage supplier performance for cost-efficient logistics services.
• Manage supplier onboarding, compliance, and act as regional contact for providers and internal stakeholders.
• Support global transportation category initiatives with regional market intelligence and lane data.
