Job summary

Vehant Technologies is seeking a Regional Project Manager to oversee multiple smart city and surveillance projects across the assigned region. You will coordinate with internal teams, vendors, contractors and regional government/municipal clients to ensure successful deployment and maintenance of ITMS, AI video analytics, FRS and CCTV systems.

The role requires strong technical acumen, regional project delivery expertise, vendor management and customer relationship skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology (Electronics, Electrical, IT, or equivalent).
• 8+ years' experience in project execution of Smart City, ITMS, or Surveillance solutions.
• Strong understanding of CCTV, ANPR, AI Video Analytics, FRS, and networking components.
• Experience in AMC handling, field execution, and vendor/subcontractor coordination.
• Excellent stakeholder management and customer handling experience in public sector projects.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end execution of Smart & Safe City and other surveillance projects within the assigned region.
• Ensure regional project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and timely execution as per scope and specifications.
• Act as a primary liaison between Vehant and regional clients, consultants, vendors, and local authorities.
• Monitor on-ground implementation through regular site visits, inspections, and quality control checks.
• Drive AMC renewals, track POs, manage SLA compliance, and ensure timely service delivery.
• Ensure proper resource allocation across multiple project sites.
• Support regional sales and BD teams with technical inputs for upselling/cross-selling opportunities and AMC renewals.
• Manage vendor relationships and sub-contractors including procurement and negotiations.
• Track and report project progress, milestones, risks, and budget status to central project leadership.
• Ensure smooth handover of projects post-commissioning and AMC initiation with knowledge transfer to O&M teams.
• Maintain updated documentation including BOQs, DPRs, client approvals, and payment follow-ups.
• Coordinate regional kick-off meetings, customer handovers, and site-readiness reviews.
• Escalate and resolve regional project bottlenecks in coordination with central functions.

The position demands strong technical acumen, regional project delivery expertise, vendor management, and customer relationship skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end execution of Smart & Safe City and other surveillance projects within the assigned region.
• Ensure regional project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and timely execution as per scope and specifications.

• Manage vendor relationships and sub-contractors, including procurement, negotiations, and work validation.
• Track and report project progress, milestones, risks, and budget status to central project leadership.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

• Strong understanding of CCTV, ANPR, AI Video Analytics, FRS, and networking components.
• Experience in AMC handling, field execution, and vendor/subcontractor coordination.
• Excellent stakeholder management and customer handling experience in public sector projects.
• Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office; familiarity with ERP/project dashboards is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple city/region-level projects simultaneously.
• PMP/PRINCE2 certification preferred but not mandatory.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
