Job summary

Oasys Tech Solutions in India seeks an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Manager with 10+ years of experience in large-scale IT infrastructure, networking, IoT, security, and project delivery for Smart City initiatives.

You will manage end-to-end projects, mentor teams of networking, systems, CCTV, and field staff, and coordinate with government bodies and vendors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with strong governance and risk management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, networking, and large-scale technology project implementation.
• Experience leading Smart City, CCTV Surveillance, and ICCC projects is highly preferred.
• Strong project management, team leadership, client coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in coordinating with government departments, PSUs, and system integrators.
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure security, backup, and disaster recovery best practices.
• Certifications such as PMP/PRINCE2, ITIL, CCNA/CCNP, CISSP, AWS/Azure are advantageous.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Managerwith 10+ years of experiencein IT infrastructure, networking, IoT, security, and large-scale technology project implementation. The ideal candidate will have strong project management, technical leadership, team management, client coordination, and stakeholder managementskills.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management & Leadership

• Lead and manage end-to-end IT Infrastructure and Smart City projectsfrom project initiation and planning through implementation, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Prepare and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, resource plans, deliverables, and implementation strategies.
• Lead and mentor a team of networking, system administration, CCTV, IoT, security, and field implementation professionals.
• Allocate resources and responsibilities and ensure effective utilization of project teams.
• Monitor project progress against timelines, scope, budget, SLA, and quality parameters.
• Identify project risks, dependencies, bottlenecks, and escalations and implement appropriate mitigation plans.
• Conduct regular project review meetings, management reviews, and stakeholder meetings.
• Prepare and present MIS reports, project dashboards, progress reports, risk registers, and status updatesto management and clients.

Smart City & CCTV Project Implementation

• Lead large-scale Smart City, CCTV Surveillance, and Command & Control Centre projects.
• Manage the implementation of IP CCTV cameras, PTZ cameras, ANPR, VMS, video analytics, NVR/storage, monitoring systems, and surveillance infrastructure.
• Oversee deployment and integration of servers, storage, switches, routers, firewalls, fiber connectivity, Wi-Fi, IoT devices, and other IT infrastructure.
• Coordinate site surveys, technical planning, installation, configuration, testing, commissioning, and final handover.
• Ensure successful integration of CCTV and IoT infrastructure with Integrated Command & Control Centres (ICCC)and other Smart City platforms.
• Coordinate with field teams, OEMs, system integrators, subcontractors, and technical teams for smooth implementation.
• Ensure preparation and completion of BOQ, site survey reports, network diagrams, installation reports, testing/commissioning reports, as-built documentation, and project closure documents.

IT Infrastructure & Networking

• Provide project-level technical direction for servers, networking, switches, routers, firewalls, Wi-Fi, VPN, storage, virtualization, CCTV, and IoT infrastructure.
• Review and approve infrastructure architecture, network designs, implementation plans, and technical solutions.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, performance, and security of project infrastructure.
• Coordinate infrastructure troubleshooting and resolution of critical technical issues.
• Ensure proper integration between network, server, security, CCTV, IoT, and application components.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary project-level point of contactfor clients and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Government Departments, Smart City authorities, municipal bodies, PSUs, consultants, and other government stakeholders.
• Understand client requirements and translate them into project scope, technical requirements, and actionable implementation plans.
• Conduct client meetings, project reviews, demonstrations, inspections, and progress presentations.
• Manage client escalations and ensure timely resolution of project-related concerns.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, OEMs, consultants, and system integration partners.

Vendor & Partner Management

• Manage and coordinate with OEMs, system integrators, subcontractors, technology vendors, and service providers.
• Review vendor technical proposals, BOQs, specifications, project schedules, and deliverables.
• Track vendor performance against agreed timelines, quality standards, SLAs, and contractual commitments.
• Coordinate procurement, resource requirements, licensing, hardware/software deployment, and vendor support.
• Ensure timely delivery and installation of project components.

Security, Risk & Compliance

• Ensure implementation follows appropriate IT infrastructure, network security, cybersecurity, and data protection practices.
• Identify and manage technical and project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure appropriate backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and high-availability mechanismsare incorporated into project implementation.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, organizational policies, contractual requirements, and applicable industry standards.

Key Skills & Requirements

• 10+ years of experiencein IT Infrastructure, Networking, Technology Project Management, or related domains.
• Proven experience in end-to-end IT infrastructure project management and technical team leadership.
• Strong experience in Smart City, CCTV Surveillance, ICCC, IoT, or large-scale government IT infrastructure projectswill be highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of CCTV, VMS, ANPR, PTZ cameras, video analytics, NVR/storage, surveillance networks, and Command & Control Centres.
• Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, VPN, switches, routers, firewalls, Wi-Fi, fiber networking, and network security.
• Good understanding of Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, storage, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Experience with enterprise technologies such as Cisco, Fortinet, Dell, HP, Aruba, or equivalent platforms.
• Good understanding of IoT architecture, device connectivity, integration, and security.
• Excellent Project Management, Team Leadership, Client Coordination, Stakeholder Management, Vendor Management, and Communication skills.
• Experience working with Government Departments, PSUs, Smart City authorities, municipal bodies, or large enterprise clientsis preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, presentation, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple teams, vendors, stakeholders, and project activities simultaneously.
• Certifications such as PMP/PRINCE2, ITIL, CCNA/CCNP, CISSP, AWS/Azurewill be an added advantage.
