Job summary

TVS Industrial & Logistics Parks is seeking a Zonal Head to oversee operations across multiple warehouses and industrial facilities in the Chennai region. The role focuses on efficiency, compliance, cost control, and strong team leadership to drive standardized operational excellence.

You will lead estate managers and technical teams, coordinating with Projects, Procurement, Finance, HR, and Safety to ensure SLAs and KPIs are met while maintaining client satisfaction.

• Oversee maintenance and readiness of electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and utility systems.
• Monitor consumption to optimize utility usage and costs.
• Conduct audits, site inspections, and compliance reviews.
• Standardize SOPs and implement process improvements across sites.
• Manage vendor performance for technical, housekeeping, security, and maintenance services.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements and regulatory standards.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with authorities, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
• Maintain relationships with clients and tenants; manage escalations.
• Ensure achievement of SLAs and operational KPIs; support onboarding and continuity.

Summary

The Zonal Head Multiple Sites is responsible for overseeing operations across multiple warehouse and industrial facilities within the assigned zone. The role ensures operational efficiency, infrastructure reliability, statutory compliance, client satisfaction, cost control, and effective team management while driving standardized operational excellence across all locations.

Role & responsibilities

• Lead Estate Managers, Technical Teams, and Operations staff across the zone.
• Conduct operational reviews, governance meetings, and performance discussions.
• Drive manpower planning, workforce optimization, and capability development initiatives.
• Build a KPI-driven culture through mentoring, training, and performance management.
• Coordinate closely with Projects, Procurement, Finance, HR, and Safety teams for smooth operational execution.
• Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance activities across all sites.
• Ensure operational readiness of electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and utility systems, including HT/LT, DG sets, STP, and pumps.
• Monitor diesel, power, and water consumption to optimize utility usage and operational costs.
• Conduct operational audits, site inspections, and compliance reviews.
• Standardize SOPs and implement process improvement initiatives across sites.
• Manage vendor performance for technical, housekeeping, security, and maintenance services.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, EHS, and organizational safety requirements.
• Lead incident investigations and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
• Coordinate with government authorities, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure adherence to operational, safety, and compliance standards across all sites.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, tenants, and key stakeholders.
• Conduct client review meetings and manage escalations effectively.

Education
