Job summary

Confidential is seeking a hands-on Regional Finance Controller to lead financial performance across its manufacturing sites in North America. This role partners with Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, Engineering, and HR to drive profitability, cash flow, and governance.

The successful candidate will challenge decisions, control costs, and improve margins with strong financial leadership across multiple sites. Based in Mexico with relocation support available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of finance leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience owning and managing a full manufacturing P&L.
• Strong ERP experience, preferably SAP.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities.
• Experience supporting plant operations and partnering with manufacturing leadership.
• Experience across multiple manufacturing sites; automotive manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the financial performance and P&L of the manufacturing sites.
• Drive profitability through revenue, margins, productivity, labor, overheads, and costs.
• Partner with site leaders to identify risks, opportunities, and improvement initiatives.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, monthly reviews, and performance reporting.
• Drive working capital improvements: inventory, receivables, payables, and cash flow.
• Ensure accurate product costing, margin analysis, and forecasting.
• Provide financial support for capital investments, quotations, and strategic decisions.
• Establish strong financial controls and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Lead and develop the regional finance organization and promote accountability.
• Support business growth through data-driven decision-making and sound governance.

Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Regional Finance Controller to lead financial performance across our manufacturing sites in North America. This role is a key member of the regional leadership team with responsibility for driving profitability, cash flow, working capital, financial discipline, and operational performance.

The successful candidate will be a strong business partner to Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, Engineering, and HR, ensuring financial accountability across the organization. This role requires an individual who can challenge decisions, control costs, improve margins, and drive sustainable business performance through strong financial leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the financial performance and P&L management of the manufacturing sites.
• Drive profitability through effective management of revenue, gross margins, productivity, labor, overheads, and operational costs.
• Partner closely with Site Leaders and functional heads to identify risks, opportunities, and improvement initiatives.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, monthly financial reviews, and performance reporting.
• Drive working capital improvements, including inventory, receivables, payables, and cash flow management.
• Ensure accurate product costing, margin analysis, and financial forecasting.
• Provide financial support for capital investments, customer quotations, and strategic business decisions.
• Establish strong financial controls and ensure compliance with corporate policies and statutory requirements.
• Lead and develop the regional finance organization while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Support business growth through data-driven decision-making and sound financial governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of finance leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience owning and managing a full manufacturing P&L.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, working capital, and financial analysis.
• Experience supporting plant operations and partnering with manufacturing leadership teams.
• Strong ERP experience, preferably SAP.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
• High level of integrity, accountability, and commercial acumen.
• Experience supporting multiple manufacturing sites.
• Automotive manufacturing experience.
• Proven track record of driving profitability, cost reduction, and cash flow improvements.

Location & Travel
