Job summary

Confidential is seeking a hands-on Regional Finance Controller to lead financial performance across its manufacturing sites in North America. You will partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, Engineering, and HR to ensure financial accountability and drive profitability, cash flow, and better margins.

The role requires challenging decisions, controlling costs, and improving performance through strong leadership and financial governance at the regional level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of finance leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience owning and managing a full manufacturing P&L.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, working capital, and financial analysis.
• Experience supporting plant operations and partnering with manufacturing leadership teams.
• Strong ERP experience, preferably SAP.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
• High level of integrity, accountability, and commercial acumen.
• Experience supporting multiple manufacturing sites.
• Automotive manufacturing experience.
• Proven track record of driving profitability, cost reduction, and cash flow improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own the financial performance and P&L management of the manufacturing sites.
• Drive profitability through effective management of revenue, gross margins, productivity, labor, overheads, and operational costs.
• Partner closely with Site Leaders and functional heads to identify risks, opportunities, and improvement initiatives.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, monthly financial reviews, and performance reporting.
• Drive working capital improvements, including inventory, receivables, payables, and cash flow management.
• Ensure accurate product costing, margin analysis, and financial forecasting.
• Provide financial support for capital investments, customer quotations, and strategic business decisions.
• Establish strong financial controls and ensure compliance with corporate policies and statutory requirements.
• Lead and develop the regional finance organization while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
