Job summary

Confidential, based in Mexico, seeks a hands-on Regional Finance Controller to lead financial performance across manufacturing sites in North America. You will partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, Engineering, and HR to ensure financial accountability and drive profitability, cash flow, and margins with strong leadership.

The role requires challenging decisions, controlling costs, and improving margins through data-driven governance and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of finance leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience owning and managing a full manufacturing P&L.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, working capital, and financial analysis.
• Experience supporting plant operations and partnering with manufacturing leadership teams.
• Strong ERP experience, preferably SAP.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the financial performance and P&L management of the manufacturing sites.
• Drive profitability through management of revenue, gross margins, productivity, labor, overheads, and costs.
• Partner with Site Leaders and functional heads to identify risks, opportunities, and improvement initiatives.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, monthly financial reviews, and performance reporting.
• Drive working capital improvements across inventory, receivables, payables, and cash flow.
• Ensure accurate product costing, margin analysis, and forecasting.
• Provide financial support for capital investments, customer quotations, and strategic business decisions.
• Establish strong financial controls and ensure compliance with policies and statutory requirements.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be a strong business partner to Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, Engineering, and HR, ensuring financial accountability across the organization. This role requires an individual who can challenge decisions, control costs, improve margins, and drive sustainable business performance through strong financial leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the financial performance and P&L management of the manufacturing sites.
• Drive profitability through effective management of revenue, gross margins, productivity, labor, overheads, and operational costs.
• Partner closely with Site Leaders and functional heads to identify risks, opportunities, and improvement initiatives.
