Job summary

Utilities One Group in Gurugram, India, seeks a Rebate & Incentive Specialist to research and monitor rebate programs across federal, state, utility, and local agencies. You will maintain databases, verify eligibility, and support sales with incentive opportunities.

The role requires strong MS Excel skills, data analysis, and the ability to coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Office in Gurgaon.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Energy Management, or related field.
• Experience in rebate, incentive, energy efficiency, utility programs, or related field.
• Strong ability to research, interpret, and organize program requirements and documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and maintaining databases.

Responsibilities

• Research and monitor rebate, incentive, and funding programs across federal, state, utility, and local agencies.
• Maintain and update the rebate database, ensuring program details, eligibility, deadlines, and documentation stay current.
• Review equipment and product eligibility for rebate and incentive programs.
• Monitor program updates, funding availability, and policy changes, and communicate relevant information to internal teams.
• Support Sales by identifying applicable rebates and incentives for customer opportunities.
• Respond to internal inquiries regarding program eligibility, requirements, and guidelines.
• Assist in developing and improving standardized processes for rebate research and documentation.
• Communicate with utilities, program administrators, and other external stakeholders as needed.

The Rebate & Incentive Specialist is responsible for researching and monitoring rebate, incentive, and funding programs across federal, state, utility, and local agencies. The role maintains accurate program information, evaluates product and equipment eligibility, supports Sales with applicable incentive opportunities, and coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure rebate requirements and updates are properly managed.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and monitor rebate, incentive, and funding programs across federal, state, utility, and local agencies.
• Maintain and update the rebate database, ensuring program details, eligibility requirements, deadlines, and documentation remain accurate and current.
• Review equipment and product eligibility for applicable rebate and incentive programs.
• Monitor program updates, funding availability, and policy changes, and communicate relevant information to internal teams.
• Support the Sales team by identifying applicable rebates and incentives for customer opportunities.
• Respond to internal inquiries regarding program eligibility, application requirements, and guidelines.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Energy Management, Environmental Studies, or a related field.
• Previous experience in rebate, incentive, energy efficiency, utility programs, funding programs, or a related field.
• Strong ability to research, interpret, and organize program requirements, eligibility criteria, and documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience maintaining databases or structured program information.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate program requirements clearly to internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple programs, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with utilities, government agencies, rebate administrators, or similar external stakeholders is preferred.
