Utilities One Group in Gurugram, India, seeks an Accounts Receivable Accountant to manage client payments, reconcile balances, issue invoices, and monitor due dates in a US-based client environment.

The role requires 2–3 years in receivables, proficiency with QuickBooks/SAP/Excel, and strong attention to detail, integrity, and communication. Onsite schedule is Monday to Friday, 5:30 PM–1:30 AM IST.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in receivables and collections accounting.
• Knowledge of receivables regulations and collections processes.
• Experience with US-based clients is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurate and timely recording client payments in the accounting system.
• Verifying and reconciling client accounts and tracking outstanding balances.

The Accounts Receivable Accountant is responsible for accurately and efficiently managing the company’s collections, monitoring receivables, and ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and internal procedures. This role contributes to optimizing financial flows, maintaining client relationships, and implementing measures for the recovery of outstanding receivables.

Work schedule

Monday - Friday from 5:30 PM till 1:30 AM IST - onsite (No WFH or Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities

• Accurate and timely recording client payments in the accounting system.
• Verifying and reconciling client accounts and tracking outstanding balances.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role in receivables and collections accounting.
• Knowledge of accounting regulations applicable to receivables and collections.
• Specialized training in receivables and collections management is an advantage.
• Experience using accounting and financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Excel, etc.).
• Previous experience working with a US-based company or US clients is required.
