Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking a Reinforcement Engineer for our Bengaluru operations. The role involves cutting, bending and tying reinforcement cages, preparing BBS from drawings, and coordinating with multiple teams to ensure safe, quality outcomes.

You will report to the Casting Yard Project Manager and drive monthly steel requirement submissions. Ideal candidates have 3–7 years of experience in reinforcement engineering, a B.Tech/B.E, and proven ability to work with cross-functional teams while

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience in reinforcement engineering.
• B.Tech/B.E degree required.
• Experience in cutting, bending and tying reinforcement cages.
• Safety compliance and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Reinforcement Engineer: reporting to Casting Yard Project Manager.
• Cutting, bending and tying of reinforcement cages for segments.
• Interacting with engineer’s representatives and internal departments.
• Preparation of BBS based on approved drawings.
• Optimization of Scrap and Offcuts.
• Ensure safe working conditions and safe acts of all workers and machinery.
• Quality to be ensured at all stages.
• Submit steel requirements monthly to Construction Manager.
• Coordinate between shift engineers.
• Submit RFIs as per systems according to planned activities.
• Coordinate with external departments.
• Monthly rebar reconciliation.
