Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking a Rebar Front Line Supervisor to oversee reinforcement activities for high-rise residential projects. You will supervise yard operations, ensure timely cutting and bending per BBS, and coordinate with planning and site teams to meet construction requirements.

This role focuses on safety, quality, and efficient material handling, tracking consumption and wastage, and ensuring proper tagging and traceability of reinforcement steel across the yard and at site.

Qualifications

• Supervise and coordinate reinforcement activities for high-rise residential projects.
• Monitor rebar yard operations including receipt, tagging and storage of reinforcement steel.
• Supervise cutting and bending operations per BBS and ensure adherence to dimensions.
• Coordinate with planning and site teams to ensure timely preparation and dispatch of cut and bent reinforcement.
• Monitor BBS-wise production, dispatch schedules and material availability to avoid delays.
• Track steel wastage and offcut generation ensuring maximum utilization and proper segregation.
• Ensure proper tagging and identification for traceability.
• Monitor manpower deployment, productivity and work quality during yard operations.
• Coordinate with site, planning, SSC and other teams to resolve material, BBS and dispatch issues.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, housekeeping and material handling requirements.
• Assist in reconciliation, quantity tracking and reporting of reinforcement consumption, wastage and dispatch.

Job Role – Rebar Front Line Supervisor (FLS)

Supervise and coordinate day-to-day reinforcement activities for high-rise residential projects, ensuring planned requirements are achieved as per schedule.

Monitor rebar yard operations, including receipt, identification, stacking, tagging and proper storage of reinforcement steel.

Supervise cutting and bending operations at the yard/Steel Service Centre as per approved BBS and ensure adherence to required dimensions and specifications.

Coordinate with the planning and site teams to ensure timely preparation and dispatch of cut and bent reinforcement as per the construction requirement.

Monitor BBS-wise production, dispatch schedules and material availability to avoid delays in reinforcement activities at site.

Track and monitor steel wastage and offcut generation at the yard, ensuring effective segregation, storage and maximum utilization of offcuts.

Ensure proper bundling, tagging and identification of reinforcement materials for easy segregation and traceability at site.

Monitor manpower deployment, productivity and work quality during cutting, bending and yard operations.

Coordinate with site, planning, SSC and other concerned teams to resolve material, BBS and dispatch-related issues.

Ensure compliance with quality, safety, housekeeping and material handling requirements during all reinforcement yard activities.
