Larsen & Toubro Ltd in Bengaluru seeks an RCF_IC Reinforcement Engineer to oversee reinforcement cage fabrication and on-site execution. The role involves coordination with the casting yard and project managers to ensure timely delivery and compliance.

You will ensure safety, quality, and proper steel planning while collaborating with engineers and other departments to maintain schedules and standards on site.

Qualifications

• Experience with reinforcement cages cutting, bending and tying based on drawings.
• Understanding of BBS (Bar Bending Schedule) preparation from approved drawings.
• Ability to enforce safety practices on site and ensure quality at all stages.

Responsabilités

• Report to Casting Yard Project Manager.
• Cutting, bending and tying reinforcement cages for segments.
• Interact with engineers' representatives and internal departments.
• Prepare BBS based on approved drawings.
• Optimize scrap and offcuts.
• Ensure safe working conditions for workers and machinery.
• Ensure quality at all stages.
• Submit monthly steel requirements to the Construction Manager.
• Coordinate between shift engineers.
• Submit RFIs per systems according to planned activities.
• Coordinate with external departments.
• Rebar reconciliation on a monthly basis.

RCF_IC_Reinforcement Engineer Reinforcement Engineer:

• Reporting to the Casting Yard ProjectManager.


• Responsible for Cutting, Bending & Tying of reinforcement cages forsegments.


• Interacting with Engineer’s representatives and internaldepartments.


• Preparation of BBS based on approveddrawings.


• Optimization of Scrap &Offcuts.


• Safe working condition and safe acts of all workers, machineriesetc.


• Quality to be ensured at all stages


• Submission of requirement of steel on monthly basis to the ConstructionManager.


• Co-ordination between the shiftengineers.


• RFI submission as per the systems according to the activitiesplanned.


• Coordination with external departments


• Rebar reconciliation on monthly basis
