Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking a site-based Reinforcement Technician with 3–7 years of experience to join our construction team in Tamil Nadu. You will report to the Project Manager and supervise cutting, bending and tying of reinforcement for all elements, while ensuring safety, quality and timely materials flow at site.

Key duties include preparing BBS from approved drawings, coordinating with engineers and internal departments, submitting monthly steel requirements to the Construction Manager, and

Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E required or Diploma as per posting.
• Experience as reinforcement technician preferred.
• Strong coordination and reporting abilities expected.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Project Manager.
• Cutting, Bending & Tying of reinforcement for all elements.
• Interacting with Engineer’s representatives and internal departments.
• Preparation of BBS based on approved drawings.
• Optimization of Scrap & Offcuts.
• Ensure safe working conditions and safe acts of all workers and machinery.
• Quality to be ensured at all stages.
• Submission of requirement of steel on monthly basis to the Construction Manager.
• Co-ordination between the shift engineers.
• RFI submission as per the systems according to the activities planned.
• Coordination with external departments.
• Rebar reconciliation on monthly basis.
• Preparation and certification of client bill if applicable.
