Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in Chennai seeks a BIM Engineer to develop and manage 3D models using Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD, aligned with BEP and client requirements.

You'll extract drawings, sections and schedules from BIM, assist quantity surveyors, maintain asset data, support clash detection and coordinate with design leads to ensure model accuracy and consistency.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in BIM software and understanding of BEP requirements.
• Interdisciplinary knowledge across Architecture, Structure and MEP.

Responsibilities

• Develop BIM models per BEP and client requirements.
• Extract drawings, sections and schedules from BIM; assist quantity surveyors.
• Input and manage asset data, specifications and parameters in BIM.
• Maintain object libraries and ensure model data consistency with project documents.
• Support clash detection and issue resolution processes.
• Coordinate with engineers and leads for design accuracy.
• Model updates and issue tracking.
